15 month update (3 weeks late)

So I know I am a little late on this post, but I wanted to wait until Brayden had gone to the doctor so I had so information on him. He is 31 inches long and weighs 25.6 pounds. The doctor said he is doing outstanding. Especially for a boy.

I know most of you have not seen him in quite sometime. Let me tell you the boy has changed! I feel like he is doing/learning something new everyday. He can climb on anything (up, over, down doesn't matter). He eats with a fork and a spoon like a champ (when he wants to) sometimes he thinks it is more fun to make a big mess.

He can follow directions really well. We can tell him to go in his room and get a diaper and he will. Then he will lay down and wait for us to change him. He will get anything we tell him to. The other day he pulled a bunch of Kleenex out of the box and I asked him to go throw it away. He took 2 into the kitchen and threw them away. Then he came back and I asked him to throw the rest away. This time, he went into his bedroom and came back carrying his diaper pail. he set it down and opened it up to throw the Kleenex away. He is so funny!

He likes to try to lift up everything and carry it. He tries to carry around his box of toys, the step-stool, my 5 lb. dumbbells anything that he can get off the ground.

The biggest change in Brayden is his talking. He can say all sorts of things and the list grows everyday. He will try and say anything you ask him and he will imitate everything you do. Words he can say are:
"HI"
"buhbye" - bye
"pup pup" - puppy or any dog
"car" always pointing to one
"muh" - more always in conjunction with food
"ma" "mama" mommy" - mom (mommy is usually in a whining voice)
"dada" "daddy"
"coo" - cool (we were at FAO Schwartz and he kept saying this while looking at toys, it took us awhile to figure out what he was saying and now he says it all the time)
"wah" - water and he usually does the sign for it as well
"tee" - tree
"ba" - ball
"boo" - book (his favorite thing right now)
"bu bu" - bubbles
"uh oh"
"nah nee" - for his pacifier
On top of all of that he has started to make the funniest noises like he is talking to himself. He will talk in his gibberish way while looking through a book or walking around the house.

He is so much fun to play with. He loves to wrestle with Nick and to be chased around the house. He loves playing on the bed and jumping off of it. He loves to be outside and gets stir - crazy like me. He is also very interested in figuring things out and how they work. He will play with a bottle and top until he gets the top on and then he will do it again. He is such a good kid and we love him so much!
