Two Weeks Old!!

Brayden is two weeks old today! it doesn't seem like it has been that long. He is so much fun to have around. He doesn't do a whole lot yet, mostly just stares at us while we feed him and hold him, but we can tell he is changing. He has a lot more strength in his neck and his arms. Also he usually leaves his legs all stretched out instead of curling them up to his chest. It makes him look a lot longer!

He has been such a good baby so far. He eats well and he spends a lot of time sleeping. When he is awake he is content to sit with mom or dad and cuddle or to lay on the floor and look out the window. He loves to lay on his worm play mat (thanks aunt Pat!). He has even been good with his cold. He does not like to be burped in the middle of being fed. As son as you sit him up he will grunt and then look to you to keep feeding him. It is the cutest fake burp ever!

I had my two week check - up today and got cleared to drive again (thank goodness!!). So we went for a ride and got Nick for lunch. Well on our wat home, the air conditioning in his car stopped working so it got really hot in the car. When Brayden and I got home we decided we needed to cool off. Here is a picture of him sitting on the couch cooling off. with a cold washcloth. We had a fun afternoon!
