Happy Birthday Nick!

Being the quiet guy that Nick is, we usually just go out somewhere for dinner to celebrate for his birthday. This year was different though. Saturday night we had his friends over for a party. We had lots of fun hanging out and having people over. It is nice when people come here, so we don't have to find someone to watch Brayden and he can go to bed at his normal time.Brayden got his party clothes on for the event. He even helped me clean (notice how shiny the kitchen floor is)

We sang to Nick which I am pretty sure is his favorite part of his birthday because he loves to be singled out (I am kidding)


This morning I made birthday cake pancakes with frosting for breakfast. If you put wax candles in hot pancakes they might just melt and tip over. You have been warned. Mine looked like this after they had been in warm pancakes
However, after I let the cakes cool a bit, I put in fresh candles and we were good to go!
It was such a fun birthday weekend and we enjoyed every minute of getting to celebrate the life of the best Dad/ Husband we could have gotten.
