San Diego

While my mom was here visiting, we decide to go to San Diego for a few days. What a great decision! I do not think I have ever seen Brayden happier. He absolutely loved playing in the sand, walking along the water, and looking for seashells. He had the time of his life hanging out on the beach.

The first night we got there, it was cloudy and quite cool out, but Grandma and Brayden played in the water anyway. they had so much fun and I am so glad that they got to do that.

They both got super wet from the waves. By the time they were done, Brayden was wet up to his armpits and so thrilled about it.

They tried to run away from the waves, but were not always successful.

Brayden kept checking on me, but I was busy keeping my distance from the cold water (I'm a wuss) and taking cute pictures.

I can't even describe how happy he was and how much fun he had that night (and in general when we were at the beach). I am so glad my mom got to be there and be a part of it as well.

We also went a part of the beach that had sea lions upon the rocks lining the beach.

Despite the smell, Brayden really loved it. He had just learned about sea lions at daycare, so he thought it was great to see them in person. We had such a great time in San Diego, I am so glad that we decided to go and got to take Grandma along with us!
