For the 4th of July weekend, my Dad and I took Brayden up to the cabin for a couple of days. There was lots of boating and playing outside that went on.
Boo went swimming in the lake with some cousins. At first he was very unsure of the sand. He stood on toes so his wouldn't touch the bottom, but after he realized that it was just sand, he loved being in there.

Here he is checking out the sand and making sure it is safe

We also got to partake in the annual boat parade. The boat got decorated and then we drove around the lake to show it off. Brayden can really rock the crown look.

Relaxing with Grandpa during the parade

On the lookout for fish

We also spent lots of time outside enjoying the nice weather and playing with anybody who would join him.

On Monday, we went to the park by my parents house. Brayden was more interested in the baseball field than he was the playground. He had Grandpa pretend to throw him the ball so he could hit it and run to first base. We still have to teach him how to get to second base.

We finished up the weekend by going to see fireworks. Brayden made a great commentator and he pointed out which ones were big or little and what color they all were. He also was very good at imitating the noises they all made.
