Spring Break and Nick

This week was my Spring Break so Brayden and I got to hang out all week! Thankfully it was super nice out for most of the week so we could be outside and enjoy it all!

Brayden was having so much fun that he would go from activity to activity so fast that he would not take off his helmet

The other big part of our spring break was that Nick left for Basic Training. HE signed up for the national guard way back in October and he just now left for Basic training. He will be in South Carolina for 9 weeks for basic and then from there he will go straight to OCS (Officer Candidate School) for an additional 14 weeks. He does not get to come home between them or make phone calls while he is out there. Hopefully Brayden and I will be able to go see him at the end of May for his graduation from Basic Training. He is going to try to keep everyone updated the best he can by writting to me and then I will post it on his own blog. I put the link to his other blog on the right side of this one. It has a great picture of him with his head shaved and his Army glasses on. He took this one of his first days down there.
