Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday we took Brayden to an outdoor shopping center for some Easter activities.We saw the Easter Bunny there. Brayden was not at all afraid of him. He waved and said hi even!

The big activity going on was an egg hunt. You had to get there earlier to register and then they had one every half hour. Originally we were not going to have Brayden do it; however, while we were waiting to see the Easter Bunny, a lady gave us a wristband for Brayden to participate in the next one. So we bought him a basket (we hadn't come prepared) and got in line. They filled an open grass area with eggs and then let all the kids in to collect them.

Brayden, having already practiced, picked up an egg and tried to open it immediately. He was a little disappointed to find out it was empty, so he moved on to a few other eggs.

He was very excited when he was all finished. He had lots of fun

After we waited in line to get our candy, we sat on a bench to enjoy some M&M's. I am glad we got to do the egg hunt. It was lots of fun!
